23RD - 24TH JUNE 2018

Course: Introduction to Lime with Brickwork Course (Ty-Mawr)
Date: 23rd - 24th June 2018
Location: Brimscombe Port, Brimscombe, Stroud, GL5 2QG
Cost: £25

After a successful weekend in 2017, Ty-Mawr is back to offer volunteers a chance to improve their heritage bricklaying skills on our bespoke and relaxed, two day beginners' course. Volunteers will spend the weekend learning about using lime mortar for bricklaying on heritage sites.

Over the two days, attendees will take part in classroom discussions, undertake practical training and apply these skills on an active restoration site. Working alongside volunteers from all across the canal restoration sector, this is the perfect opportunity to learn essential restoration skills with like minded individuals.

This is a heavily subsidised course costing only £25 for the whole weekend, with basic accommodation provided in an old office complex located at Brimscombe Port, Stroud
